There’s no better investment in the world than your local parish. It is where people meet Jesus and lives are changed. Through your financial stewardship, we can continue to serve our community and spread the love of Christ.

We invite you to prayerfully consider your role in supporting your church’s financial health. With that in mind, you can make gifts to your parish in one of these ways:

Parish collections at Mass

Mail or bring to the Parish Center Office

Online Giving

A bit about our online giving tool that we are currently using at St. Mary and St. Columban (including St. Patrick Oratory). It is an easy and secure way for you to give donations or make payments to our church. You can set up payment with either an ACH bank account, credit/debit card, Venmo, Apple Pay, or PayPal. Giving once a month vs weekly and using ACH accounts rathe than credit/debit cards reduces parish costs. If you are interested in E-giving, simply click the links below. It’s as easy as entering your name, contact info, and payment details. You can also text the word “GIVE” to 507-204-9222 for St. Mary, or 507-264-4800 for St. Columban. You have the option to give as a guest or create an account to set up a one-time or recurring donation.

IRA Charitable Rollover

Qualified Charitable Donations (QCD) from a traditional IRA - if you are over age 70 1/2, your QCD can satisfy your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD). You can donate up to $108,000 tax-free from your traditional IRA. Contact your IRA administrator about your RMD. Distributions must go directly from your IRA account to a qualified charity.

ACH withdrawal at St. Mary

ACH is currently being used at St. Mary Parish, Chatfield; if is a monthly transfer from your bank account to the Parish bank account. Contact the office for more information or email Laurie directly at bookkeeper.hfc@gmail.com
